Don't They See The Person I Am Through My Disability?

I am Aleida, 42 years old, fun, spontaneous, honest, reliable and sweet. I do have a speech problem. Due to a natural mistake, my tongue is much too short. I've had a number of surgeries for this, but it won't be all right. I can be understood well, but men seem to be immediately turned off by this. Don't they see the person I am?
